Sliding doors not only provide comfortable and convenient accessibility for restaurant guests; they also allow diners to navigate easily once inside. Single and double sliding doors from dormakaba welcome passengers to the restaurants and bars.

Smooth sailing guaranteed

Service staff won’t miss a step when moving from the restaurant to the kitchen and back again, thanks to swing doors powered by the automatic ED 250 operator. Disabled-access cabins are also equipped with this automatic swing door operator. With features such as the power assist function, opening and closing doors is a breeze for guests with mobility issues. This same door operator is used for the public restrooms. Even the exterior WC facility doors open and close quietly, no matter how blustery the weather may be. The ship’s interior boasts a spacious and bright atmosphere with some 150 ST Flex automatic sliding doors in a range of finishes.

Wind and sea are no match for technology

dormakaba’s specifically designed ES 200 SWR (seawater resistant) door drive meets the high standards of the high seas for some 50 exterior doors. The master key system’s electronic controls have an IP protection class. Various doors are fitted with the TS 98 XEA door closer, which features decreasing opening torque for convenient and comfortable passenger entrances and exits.
